What did it take to get to the level you're at now?
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to say what, exactly, it took to get to where I am now. It is a very large culmination of things, many of which I probably don't even know about! It took a lot of hard work (early mornings) and dedication to the sport. I had to give up a lot of my other interests because of swimming. It took support from my mom and dad, and I have had a lot of great coaches to help me along the way. Most importantly, however, I think you have to have a goal and really, really believe in it. If you don't believe that someday you can accomplish your dream, you will have no foundation for your motivation.
